Ministry of Justice (MoJ) of Russia has revealed violations in the activities of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", which should be eliminated before December 21. The MoJ's claims concern the HRC's Charter, which will be amended, said Alexander Cherkasov, the head of the HRC.

The republic will set up a public commission for working with children, who could be influenced by their relatives-members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).

In the opinion of political analysts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), militants of the "Imarat Kavkaz" treat members of the "Islamic State" (IS) as rivals. In Armenia, 43-year-old Karen Boyadjyan, who was serving his life sentence, died. According to the prisoner's advocate, the Armenian Ministry of Justice (MoJ) was aware of the fatal illness of the prisoner. In connection with the Karen Boyadjyan's death, human rights defenders claimed it had been inhumane to keep a seriously ill person in prison.

The elections to the National Assembly of Azerbaijan were held against the background of human rights violations and criminal proceedings against public activists. Besides, the parliamentary elections were accompanied by massive violations of the electoral law. Such elections cannot be considered free, fair and reflecting the decision of the society. This was stated by participants of the roundtable on the theme "Human rights situation in the election year".

Mukhammed Siradjly, a soldier of the Azerbaijani Army, has been found dead. Officials from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) claim that the soldier has committed suicide. Relatives of the young man deceased during his military service do not believe the version of his suicide.
