Ingush authorities decide to take care of militants' children

The republic will set up a public commission for working with children, who could be influenced by their relatives-members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).

This was announced today by the press service of the head of Ingushetia.

"Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the Ingush leader, urged to take special control over the issue of rearing the children, who occurred under the influence of their relatives-IAF members. He finds it reasonable to set up a special working group, comprising of officials from guardianship bodies and members of the Ingush regional branch of the All-Russia public movement 'Mothers of Russia'," says the statement posted on the official website of Ingushetia.

The commission will also include members of the regional Public Chamber. Leyla Amerkhanova, the chair of the "Mothers of Russia", will head the commission.

Today, when meeting Leyla, Mr Evkurov has noted that creation of the commission was supported by Sergey Malikov, the presidential envoy in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).
