Public activists of Novosibirsk have asked the head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov to control the inquiry into the beating of Christina Kumeda, a student of the Novosibirsk State Medical University (NSMU) by a native of Dagestan Said Kapiev, the movement named "Citizens' Patrol" has reported today.

Gasan Abataev, the leader of the "Caspian" militants' grouping, was preliminarily identified among those killed in a suburban township of Novy Khushet of Makhachkala. He and two others casualties were active members of the "Makhachkala" grouping, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported.
