The law enforcement bodies instituted a criminal case on extremism against a resident of the Urvan District after finding calls for extremism in his posts on the social media, the FSB reported.

The authorities of Poland ignored an urgent complaint filed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) against a court’s decision on deportation of Emran Navruzbekov, a former FSB employee from Dagestan, and handed him over to Russia. A spouse and children of Emran Navruzbekov were granted asylum in Poland.

Compensation was awarded to activists against the backdrop of the Russian authorities’ refusal to comply with the decisions of the ECtHR.
