North Caucasus - statistics of victims

The number of armed incidents and the number of bombings also decreased, but the number of civilian casualties significantly increased by 63%. To a greater extent, the above can be explained by the events in Chechnya, which for the first time in many years moved Dagestan to the second place in the number of victims. Last year, out of all the regions in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), Chechnya registered the highest number of killed and wounded.
