Armenia is unhappy with the reaction of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and Russia to the problem of withdrawing Azerbaijani troops from the border area, and is ready to appeal to the UN Security Council, Nikol Pashinyan, the Acting Prime Minister, has stated. Armenian MPs have also criticized Russia and the CSTO.

The last protest action against the construction of the Namakhvan hydroelectric power plant (HPP) on the Rioni River was held in Tbilisi. Now, protesters move their actions to the Imereti Region, to the construction site of the HPP.

In the Lower Rhine Region, law enforcers detained three minor Chechen natives and one adult; they are suspected of preparing a terror act, French media have reported. The Russian Embassy to Germany is verifying this information.
