The authorities of the republic describe Suleiman Gezmakhmaev as a dishonest person addicted to drugs, but in fact, they do not respond to his testimonies about the killings committed by law enforcers, Internet users note.

Three members of an extremist grouping, detained in Rostov-on-Don, planned to leave offensive inscriptions on government buildings and throw incendiary devices at them, the FSB reported.

Turkmen oppositionist Rozgeldy Choliev has been forcibly deported to Turkey after his three-week stay in the neutral zone of the Russian Sheremetyevo Airport. His partner with a small child remained in Karachay-Cherkessia after the activist had been expelled from the university. Rozgeldy Choliev has been denied the consideration of his refugee status application in Russia.
