A court in Stavropol has sentenced five residents of Dagestan to prison terms, recognizing them as participants in the riots at the Makhachkala airport. The number of those convicted in the "airport case" has reached 122.

Armenian security forces are conducting a search in the building of the Shirak Diocese in connection with the case of Archbishop Mikael Ajapakhyan, who is suspected of calling for the violent overthrow of the government. Ajapakhyan's lawyer was barred from being present during the search.
