North Ossetia is developing a programme named "Wastes". The document will suggest a complex of measures to solve the problem of solid domestic wastes (SDW), starting from collection, transportation, sorting, and up to complete liquidation of wastes. This was reported on May 6 by Taimuraz Mildzikhov, Minister for Environment and Natural Resources.

Ecologists failed to achieve cancellation of construction of two cargo ports in the Imereti Valley of Sochi. By doing so, the court has supported the prosecution, which petitioned in favour interrogating the witnesses in full about the sites they had visited during the events.

The witnesses in the so-called "Case of Seven", which was split by court's decision of April 1 into several individual cases, refuse from their evidences they had given at the investigation stage.
