Today in the morning, several hundreds of believers held a protest action in front of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan against the ban to wear hijabs in schools, introduced in November last year. Constitutors of "Express-Diagnostika" company in Tbilisi have been detained for misappropriation of state finance. They are accused of legalization of illegal income (money laundering) and forgery of the customs documentation.

The police personnel of Rostov region detained three young "abductors of a bride". The kidnapped girl, resident of Volgodonsk, was returned home safely.

On May 4, hundreds of people held a demonstration in front of the French Senate in Paris in support of the bill assuming criminal liability for denial of the Armenian Genocide. The action was attended by about 500 persons.

The US government has increased the maximum term of visas for certain categories of Georgian citizens to 5 and 10 years. Earlier, the maximum term for all citizens was one year.
