Today, the Armenian National Congress (ANC) gave 24 hours for the authorities to release the activists detained on August 9 and accused of hooliganism.

Today, many of the refugees, who are now being evicted from Hotel "Abkhazia" in the Georgian capital, started to voluntarily leave the hotel. At the same time, other refugees, living in the hotel, organized another protest rally in Tbilisi.

Today in the afternoon, in the city of Khasavyurt, two unidentified persons have opened automatic fire at the people who were coming out of the local mosque and wounded two persons who later died.

On that very day, a spiritual figure Abdulah Suleimanov and Ramin Bairamov, editor of the website İslamazeri.az, were detained. The IPA has condemned the arrests in its statement.
