Azerbaijan and Russia have agreed to resolve the issue around the villages of Khrakh-Uba and Uryan-Uba. Villagers of the latter took Azerbaijani citizenship and will stay in their houses, while Russian citizens from Khrakh-Uba decided to move to Russia and settle in the territory of Dagestan. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in Baku.

As reported by Nurullah Abdullaev, 20, a resident of the city of Dagestanskie Ogni, Dagestan, local law enforcers persecute Muslims on religious grounds. So far, the police make no comments on this information.

Today, in the Astrakhan Region, on the bridge over the Kizan River, connecting the villages of Karagan and Tataro-Bashmakovka, people held a rally and a solo picket in memory of Maxim Medvedev, a Karagan villager, who perished on the bridge.
