The Court of Appeal (CoA) of Armenia has again dismissed the motion filed by the defence of Tigran Arakelyan, an activist of the youth wing of the "Armenian National Congress" (ANC) to change his freedom restriction measure into recognizance not to leave.

In Azerbaijan, the advocate's power of lawyer Aslan Ismailov has been terminated. This decision was made today by the Nariman District Court of Baku to grant the request of the Advocates' Bar of Azerbaijan to deprive Aslan Ismailov of advocate status and to expel him from the Advocates' Chamber. Aslan Ismailov himself does not agree with the decision of the Court.

Advocate Abdurashid Sheikhov has requested to transfer the case on the attempt and the murder of journalist Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev for the investigation to the Chief Investigating Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).

On September 8, in the Krasnodar Territory, 52 election campaigns were held, and they became the most peaceful and constructive elections in recent years in the region. This was stated by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Krasnodar Territory.
