Magomedrasul Shakhbanov, a resident of Makhachkala, after a search was detained and taken to an unknown place by law enforcers, said his mother Zumrud Mirzaeva. The on duty unit of the MIA said they knew nothing about Shakhbanov's whereabouts.

The strike of Armenian lawyers launched on Monday is now 201 persons strong. The strike will continue till June 11. The Armenian lawyers had planned in advance their two-day strike on June 10 and 11 in protest against the work methods of the Court of Cassation (CoC), in which they see arbitrariness.
