The Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" has filed a lawsuit challenging the demand of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office to get registered as a foreign agent. Being earlier scheduled for September 13, the court hearing has been postponed.

In Georgia, an educational film for training and re-training of employees of the penitentiary system was produced within the project of the training centre of the corrections and probation. The project lasts for half a year already, and starting from in September, the training centre launched a new training course.

The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan has dismissed the appeal filed by Avaz Zeinalov, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Khural", and upheld the verdict to deprive the journalist of liberty for nine years, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
