In Dagestani Chontaul village, policemen detain about 80 mosque-goers, local reports
In the village of Chontaul of the Kizilyurt District, about 80 mosque-goers were detained during a special operation conducted by the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). This was reported by a local resident. Officials from the Dagestani MIA have stated that no one was detained and that all persons brought to the OVD (Interior Division) were released after their identification.

On December 6, Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the head of Ingushetia, passed on the bust of Sulambek Oskanov, Major General of Aviation, the first Hero of the Russian Federation, for eternal keeping to the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War (World War II) on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. In 1992, Sulambek Oskanov gave his lives to prevent an aircraft crash on a village in the Lipetsk Region.
MIA: case against "Novosibirsk Jamaat" grouping associated with Caucasian militants sent to court
The case against ten persons, accused of involvement in the illegal armed formation (IAF) "Novosibirsk Jamaat", banditries and robberies, sent to the Novosibirsk Regional Court. This was reported by the Chief Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in the Novosibirsk Region. They sent more than half of the stolen money to finance militants in the Northern Caucasus.
