The minimum subsistence level set up by the Government of the Chechen Republic for the second quarter of 2015 is by more than 1300 roubles higher than in 2014, said the spokesman of the republic's Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Development.

Despite the fact that Khizri Shikhsaidov, the Speaker of the People's Assembly, has returned to his duties, the rumours of his impending resignation cannot be considered completely dispelled. Khizri Shikhsaidov is involved in the clan fight in Dagestan, and his resignation will be a blow to the politicians close to him.
