An anticorruption rally held in Makhachkala had nothing in common with the actions held by Alexei Navalny's supporters: participants of the event did not criticize the federal centre, but asked for help. This was noted by Dagestani journalists interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot".

The court has dismissed an appeal filed against the arrest of 80-year-old Yuri Babayan, accused of damaging a gas pipe. According to investigators, the above damage caused an explosion in a residential building in University Avenue in Volgograd.
