At the upcoming census, the Circassians living in Russia should register themselves as a single nation, since they have a common language and one culture, Beslan Khagazhei and Aslan Beshtoev, activists of Circassian organizations in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), has stated. Circassians are territorially divided, and the absence of a single name does not allow perceiving them as a single nation, Madina Khakuasheva, a philologist, believes.

There were clashes of Armenians and Azerbaijanis in Moscow, but this scale was observed for the first time, said Alexander Verkhovsky, the director of the "Sova" Information and Analytical Centre, who believes that someone managed the conflict. Mamed Ibragim, a member of the Presidium of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), is charged under four articles in connection with the action held at night on July 15 in Baku. The court arrested him for four months. The PFPA treats the charges as politically motivated.

Some Instagram users found the video to be funny, while others made fun of its authors. Blogger Tumso Abdurakhmanov mentioned "clowning" as a specific feature of the Chechen authorities' policy.
