Azerbaijan has blocked the Goris-Kapan highway for residents of Armenia in order to get concessions from Yerevan on the Zangezur Corridor issue, Beniamin Pogosyan, a political analyst, and Tatul Akopyan, the coordinator of the ANI Research Centre, have stated.

All the witnesses questioned by the court on August 25 called the clashes at the protest action in Magas to be the result of law enforcers' provocative actions. Ingush activists, according to witnesses, tried to prevent clashes.

For several hours, Azerbaijani militaries blocked about 40 cars with residents of Armenia on the Goris-Kapan highway section, Arman Tatoyan, the Armenian Ombudsperson, has stated. Russian militaries have entered into negotiations in order to get people out of the blocked highway section.
