Relatives of missing soldiers block a street in Yerevan
Today, members of the families of soldiers, missing in action during the autumn war in Nagorno-Karabakh, have blocked Geratsi Street in Yerevan. The protestors claim discrepancies in the official information concerning the number of the dead bodies found. The relatives of the missing soldiers were met by officers from the scientific and practical centre of forensic medicine, and after the meeting, the traffic along the street was restored.

"Goryanka of the Year" contest reminds of Dagestan people's traditions
Almost 170 applications had submitted for participation in the ethno-contest "Goryanka of the Year" ("Goryanka" means a highlander woman, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"). The winner was Fatima Magomedova from the village of Ratlub, Shamil District. The organizers and participants have noted the value of such contests for preserving the traditions of Dagestani nations and the interest of young people in them.
