ECtHR awards compensations to two residents of Southern Russia for non-providing medical care in colony
The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has awarded 15,000 euros in compensation for the suffered material damage and moral harm, as well as for legal expenses, to Alim Khokonov from Kabardino-Balkaria and Khristofor Golovatov from Rostov-on-Don. They were diagnosed with oncological diseases, but they were not provided with medical care in colony, says the ECtHR's decision, posted on its website on July 7.
Volgograd activist challenges fine for discrediting Russian Armed Forces
Today, Tamara Grodnikova has filed a complaint to the court of cassation against the first instance court’s decision to fine her 30,000 roubles for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. In her complaint, the activist pointed out that the posters she was holding in her hand during a picket mentioned only the blocking of the media and did not express any opinion about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine.
Chechen TV Channel shows a military camp of new MoD’s battalions
A five-storey building, in which finishing work is being carried out, will become the location of new Chechen battalions, and the buildings on the territory of the military camp require major repairs, the “Grozny” ChGTRK (State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company) reports.
