The Sochi Military Court has sentenced Timofei Abyshkin, a contract military serviceman, to two years and three months in colony, finding him guilty of failing to follow an order to go to the special military operations (SMO) zone in Ukraine.

The law enforcement bodies instituted a criminal case on extremism against a resident of the Urvan District after finding calls for extremism in his posts on the social media, the FSB reported.

The authorities of Poland ignored an urgent complaint filed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) against a court’s decision on deportation of Emran Navruzbekov, a former FSB employee from Dagestan, and handed him over to Russia. A spouse and children of Emran Navruzbekov were granted asylum in Poland.

A Rostov resident has pleaded guilty to beating a disabled teenager in a shopping centre; the case has been sent to the court. Two men were beating up the boy, but eyewitnesses refused to testify against the second attacker, the teen's mother has complained.

Magomed Abubakarov, a citizen of the United Kingdom (UK), has been detained by law enforcers at his mother's home in Urus-Martan, his female relative has informed. Before leaving Russia, Abubakarov was tortured and convicted for assisting militants, his acquaintance has added.

An FSB investigator has sent materials on the application about torture lodged by Oleg Vazhdaev, who is accused within the case of arson of the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office) in Krasnodar, to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
