In the city of Grozny, law enforcement officers detained a 40-year old native of Dagestan, who was on the federal wanted list on suspicion of involvement in kidnapping of a person.

Today, the Nazran District Court held a session to consider the case against Magomed Khazbiev, an Ingush oppositionist. According to the court, Magomed Khazbiev was arrested for 15 days for an administrative offense.

The participants of a strike of miners and workers in the town of Chiatura in the West of Georgia accused the management of the company of double-dealing and improper expenditure of the money collected on construction of a temple.
