In the StavropolTerritory, the next meeting of the Regional Legislative Assembly has unanimously adopted the Law "On the Public Chamber of the Stavropol Territory". The initiative of the authorities to establish the Regional Public Chamber was met sceptically by leaders of the public organizations and experts of the Stavropol Territory.

The relatives of Rizvan Yakubov demanded to explain why the young man was detained and to allow his advocate to visit him. Policemen dispersed the protesters, and several persons were detained.

Zeitun Kudaev, a resident of Nalchik, who was detained by policemen on July 4, was released without any charges. This was reported by his advocate Mukhtar Mishaev.

Health state of persons who went on hunger strike at the temporary accommodation centre (TAC) "Promzhilbaza" in Karabulak deteriorates. This was reported by a woman, who took part in the hunger strike. Human rights activists, who visited women on hunger strike, have proposed to stop the protest action and to use the legal ways to solve the problem in each specific case.

After the refusal of the court to change the pre-trial restriction measure to Said Amirov, the defence will seek for his transfer from SIZO (pre-trial prison) to a specialized hospital. This was reported by advocate Mark Kruter.
