Georgian law enforcers claim having no information about Magomed Magomedov, missing native of Dagestan
In Georgia, representatives of the Chief Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) state that they do not have any information on the whereabouts of Magomed Magomedov, a native of Dagestan, who disappeared in Tbilisi. It is known that Magomed Magomedov himself was sentenced in Georgia to two years of imprisonment for illegal crossing of the border; however, in January 2013, he was amnestied, and he asked the Georgian authorities for a political asylum.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, a suspected initiator of the terror act in Boston, came to the attention of Russian power agencies in early 2011 in connection with the detention in Dagestan of Canadian citizen William Plotnikov, and in 2012, when Tamerlan Tsarnaev was seen together with Makhmud Nidal, an alleged agent of the armed underground. This was stated by a source at the Dagestan's Centre for Combating Extremism.
