The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has recognized admissible the complaint filed by Khamid Razhapov, a native of Chechnya, accused of attacking staff members of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) in the suburban village of Vnukovo.

The Supreme Court of the Chechen Republic, which is considering the complaint lodged against the sentence passed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent Zhalaudi Geriev, has questioned two defence witnesses, one of whom stated violations during the investigation.
