Volgograd residents considered the prices at gas stations to be inflated against the backdrop of the absence of queues.

Gas prices at filling stations in the Volgograd region are higher than they were before the fuel crisis, while there are no longer any queues at gas stations in the region, car owners reported.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", agreements with operators who own gas stations in Volgograd, Rostov regions, and Stavropol Krai were concluded by the authorities with the assistance of the antimonopoly service. The purpose of such agreements is to ensure price restraint at gas stations. At the same time, social media users were surprised that gasoline prices at "Lukoil" and "Rosneft" gas stations in the Volgograd region have increased.

On November 8, a correspondent from the "Caucasian Knot" surveyed drivers in Volgograd. The survey is not representative and reflects only the private opinions of the respondents.

A resident of the Central District of Volgograd Olga Kitaeva reported that the fuel crisis in Volgograd has "noticeably weakened." In her opinion, the situation with fuel sales has been improving for the third week.

"I haven't seen queues for gasoline at gas stations for more than two weeks. My husband travels around the city and nearby areas – the situation is the same everywhere. For example, neither last night nor this morning were there any cars at the Lukoil gas station on Pakhomenko Street, gasoline was sold without restrictions," Olga said, confirming her words with photographs.
