A resident of Krasnodar recorded a video address to Putin complaining about the lack of heating.
In the homes of residents of the Krasnodar microdistrict Dubinka, there is no heating supply, although the air temperature drops to two degrees at night and subscribers pay for heating, a local resident complained in a video address to Vladimir Putin. Residents of Krasnodar and Tuapse, commenting on her complaint online, also reported the lack of heating supply and criticized officials for poor preparation for the heating season.
A resident of Krasnodar recorded a video address to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin complaining about the lack of heating in the Dubinka microdistrict. According to her, on November 7, when the air temperature dropped to two degrees at night, the radiators in the house remained cold. The woman in the video said that many elderly people live in the house, and she herself recently underwent surgery. She accused city officials of poor preparation for the heating season and demanded that those responsible be punished.
"I am addressing Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Why? Because our officials in Krasnodar are not coping. I think it needs to be addressed in the Kremlin," said the Krasnodar resident, whose video address was published on November 7 by the Telegram channel "Krasnodar Teletype."
She also expressed outrage that residents pay for heating that they do not receive. "There is a question – to find out why this happens every time. To hold those responsible accountable," she said.
As of 15:30 Moscow time on November 8, this video on the Telegram channel "Krasnodar Teletype," which has about 124 thousand subscribers, had about 5.5 thousand views and 11 comments.
Residents of other districts of Krasnodar and Tuapse also complained in the comments about cold radiators, pointing to unsuccessful attempts to start heating and the lack of results from preventive work. "In Yubileyny and in Selkhoz, there is also trouble with heating. Every year winter comes "unexpectedly," and all the services that are supposedly ready for the season turn out to be unprepared, but they take money regularly. People are freezing, homes have cooled down, attempts to start heating in some houses have not been successful, and utility workers calmly went off for the weekend. Meanwhile, the forecast for tomorrow night is below zero. Neighbors in the house chat are all in solidarity with the author of the address. Our officials only have the appearance of work," wrote Elena Zhdanova.
"In Tuapse, they are also not coping, half the city is without heating. It is unclear why preventive work is carried out in the summer – apparently just for show," noted a user with the nickname Li Li.
"Although the money for checking heating is paid from the pockets of homeowners, as is the heating itself, the price for which is astronomical," complained Valentina.
Other commentators criticized regional and city authorities, questioned the order of the heating season's start, and expressed skepticism about addressing the president. "Until there is a competent owner in the region, there will be no progress in the capital of the region either. Our administration should have been dismissed long ago, and probably 50% should be held accountable," stated Valery.
"They invented a rule to wait for an average temperature of +8, resulting in cold apartments, while bills are issued. They do not work for people, but for maximum profit," wrote Sergey.
"God, how naive our people are... Putin is certainly lucky with the population," noted a user Silencio.
In the Dubinka microdistrict, a leak was discovered in the heating networks on Voronezhskaya Street, which caused interruptions in heating supply in certain parts of the microdistrict; the malfunction was planned to be eliminated within two to three hours, reported the Krasnodar Department of Urban Economy and Energy on November 7 in its channel on Max.
As of November 7, heating was supplied to more than 96% of the residential fund and social facilities in Krasnodar, however, ten leaks were identified in the heating networks. Their elimination is planned to be completed by November 9, the department also noted.
The heating season in Krasnodar began on November 2 on a request basis. Residents of apartment buildings were advised to contact management companies, which should forward requests to resource-supplying organizations. In other houses, heating supply is planned to start after five days with an average daily temperature below eight degrees, the Krasnodar mayor's office noted, as reported by BFM Kuban on November 3.
According to the weather service of the "Caucasian Knot," today in Krasnodar it is cloudy, the air temperature is +7 degrees, and the wind speed is 3 meters per second. Light rain is expected on the night of November 9, the air temperature will drop to +4 degrees, and the wind speed will be up to 3 meters per second. The weather service is a partnership project of the "Caucasian Knot" and Gismeteo. The service also allows you to adjust meteorological data for a more accurate forecast. The service is also available in a light version and in the "Caucasian Knot" applications for Android and AndroidGO.
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of Krasnodar regularly face prolonged heating outages. For example, on January 14, 2024, residents of the "Moscow" residential complex announced a petition to the president and the Investigative Committee after several days without heating. They complained about cold radiators, the appearance of mold on apartment walls, and charges for unprovided heat.
On February 15, 2021, residents of two Krasnodar microdistricts complained that heating and hot water did not reach their homes even after the mayor's report on eliminating an accident on the heating main.
In November 2018, about 1,500 residents of three residential complexes were left without gas, heating, and hot water, which had not been supplied to their homes since August, although it had already snowed in Krasnodar.
