Volgograd residents complained about the inaction of utility services.

Residents of a house in the Dzerzhinsky district of Volgograd recorded a video message to Governor Andrey Bocharov, stating that sewage wells have been leaking near their home for almost a month. Numerous complaints to the authorities, according to the residents, have not yielded results.

Residents of emergency and dilapidated houses in Volgograd and the Volgograd region have repeatedly complained about the delays in resettlement and difficult living conditions. For example, in March 2026, residents of a dormitory in the village of Veselyaya Balka, recognized as emergency back in 2019, reported that the promised resettlement scheduled for 2025 was suspended. Families with children remaining in the building lived without heating and utilities, with a leaking roof and mold on the walls.

Residents of house No. 18 on Rionskaya Street appealed to Governor Bocharov due to the inaction of utility workers. The video message was published by the Telegram channel "Bloknot Volgograd," which has over 86 thousand subscribers. By 20:00 Moscow time, the publication had garnered over one and a half thousand views.

According to the residents, sewage wells located at each entrance have been leaking near their home for almost a month. The problem has been observed since October 9, with sewage flooding the yards of residential buildings from Rionskaya Street to the house on Karl Liebknecht Street.

"A foul smell fills the entire street, the whole road is already flooded, and puddles have formed. This creates unsanitary conditions and a threat of flooding the basement. Children walk to school along the yard road. Due to the formed puddles, they have to walk around under the balconies, which is dangerous. A kindergarten is also located here," the residents complain in the video.

The gathered residents claim that on October 19, they contacted the management organization, and they accepted the request to eliminate the violations. However, after some time, they received a formal response stating that "first emergency requests, then yours."

"Children fall into puddles, there is a playground nearby, all this flows onto it, and then various diseases will start. When will this end? No one cares, the city collector is clogged, and it flows into the school and kindergarten," the residents are outraged.

Specialists from "Water Supply Concessions" plan to eliminate the blockage as soon as the management company removes the trees obstructing access to the drainage networks. The latter, in turn, stated that they had not received any requests, writes "Bloknot Volgograd."

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of a 10-story building on Stoletova Avenue in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd recorded a video message to the head of the Investigative Committee asking to save them from freezing. According to the residents, due to the inaction of the management company, their house is still not fully prepared for the heating season.
