The change in prices at gas stations caused confusion among social media users.

Social media users were surprised that gasoline prices at the "Lukoil" and "Rosneft" gas stations in the Volgograd region increased after information that agreements had been made with gas station operators to restrain prices.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", agreements with operators who own gas stations in the Volgograd, Rostov regions, and Stavropol Krai were concluded by the authorities with the assistance of the antimonopoly service. The purpose of such agreements is to ensure price restraint at gas stations.

Prices at various gas stations in the Volgograd region have increased. At "Lukoil" stations, the price increase was minimal. A liter of AI-92 gasoline now costs drivers 68.05 rubles (an increase of 9 kopecks), while AI-95 costs 75.63 rubles (+10 kopecks). The price of high-octane AI-100 remained at the previous level of 99.99 rubles, while diesel fuel increased by 11 kopecks, reaching 81.45 rubles, writes mtv.online.

A more noticeable increase was recorded at "Rosneft" gas stations. Here, AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline prices rose by 60 kopecks, reaching 67.55 and 73.75 rubles, respectively. Diesel fuel in this network became more expensive by 50 kopecks and now costs 78.55 rubles per liter, the publication states.

"Gazprom Neft" primarily reduced fuel prices. AI-92 gasoline decreased by 60 kopecks to 65.75 rubles, while AI-100 lost almost two rubles (down 1.98 rubles), dropping to 97.4 rubles. Diesel also became cheaper by 35 kopecks, with a price of 77.2 rubles. The only exception was AI-95 gasoline, which increased by 30 kopecks and now costs 72.85 rubles, the publication reports.

Information about the price changes was commented on by users of the Telegram channel V1.

"How to make a person feel good? You need to do something bad, and then return it to how it was. But here they also raised the price by 5 rubles," writes Konstantin_bashmak.

"Wait, what about the 'agreement' that was recently signed? So that prices wouldn't increase," asked Viktor.
