Three fighters from Dagestan were killed in a military operation.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by November 3, officials and security forces officially recognized at least 2197 fighters from Dagestan as killed in Ukraine.
In the Khunzakh district, state awards were presented to the relatives of the killed participants of the special military operation. Among the killed are Iman Yahyaev from the village of Samilakh, Magomedhabib Alisultanov from the village of Gotsatl, and Magomed Aliskandiev from the village of Chondotl, according to a message on the Telegram channel of the district administration.
The age and details of the biographies of the killed servicemen are not provided in the officials' message.
Thus, at least 2200 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".
In May, it became known that in the fighting in Ukraine Magomed Isbagiev, Gadzhimurad Dalgatov, and Arip Kuraev from the Khunzakh district were killed.
Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District in the number of killed in the military operation whose names have been officially disclosed by the authorities. In February 2022, Sergey Melikov, who was then the head of Dagestan, was the first among the representatives of the authorities to report that a Russian serviceman - officer Nurmagomed Gadzhimagomedov was killed in Ukraine.
State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, according to the material of "Caucasian Knot" "Three comrades served: how the authorities deprive the families of killed volunteers of benefits", which describes the stories of the killed fighters. "I receive only twelve thousand rubles a month for two minor children as a family of military pensioners," complains the widow of Vasily Shtylun, who received five million rubles from the "Veterans" unit for her husband killed in 2022.
