The court has arrested the head of the Slavyansky District of Krasnodar Krai, Roman Sinyagovsky, until December 31, accused of exceeding his authority and receiving a bribe.
The Primorsky District Court of Krasnodar, at the request of the investigation, has detained the head of the administration of the Slavyansky District, Roman Sinyagovsky.
According to the investigation, from January 2018 to March 2026, the official received through intermediaries from the director of a private funeral agency a total of at least 26 million rubles. For a reward, a decree was issued that granted the mentioned agency a de facto monopoly right to burials, while the rights were formalized under the guise of contracts for the improvement of the cemetery, writes Kommersant on November 2.
Sinyagovsky is accused of exceeding his authority and receiving a bribe on a particularly large scale. The court has detained him until December 31.
