Workers of the Khasavyurt ambulance station complained about working conditions and salary levels.

After the merger of the ambulance service of Khasavyurt with the Kizlyar station, the salaries of the workers sharply decreased, and since November, management has demanded an increase in the number of shifts, one of the employees complained on social media. Residents of Dagestan, commenting on his complaint, spoke about the long wait for ambulances and expressed concerns that due to the high workload, there may not be any workers left.

One of the workers of the Khasavyurt ambulance station complained on behalf of the team about the decrease in salaries after the merger with the Kizlyar station and the change of management. According to him, since November, employees are being asked to switch from the schedule of "one day on, three days off" to "one day on, two days off," which will increase the number of shifts beyond what is stipulated in the employment contracts.

"After the merger with the Kizlyar ambulance service and the new management, our salaries have sharply fallen, noticeably. And since November, we are being asked to work more than what is stipulated in the employment contract. The rate for an ambulance worker is 7 or 8 shifts, that is, one day on, three days off. But now we are already being asked for one day on, two days off," the appeal states, which was published on October 29 by the Instagram*-public dagestan_like.

"Let them write a collective complaint to the labor inspectorate, the prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Health. Is Instagram now the main service for appeals?" asked irmusik1983.

A number of commenters expressed concerns that due to the high workload, there may be a shortage of staff in the ambulance service. "Of course, you won't wait, because soon there will be no one to work!" wrote _zaika_03.

On July 23, 2024, residents of Dagestan Ogni complained about unsanitary conditions and poor conditions in the local infectious disease hospital. They demanded that those responsible, including employees of the Ministry of Health of Dagestan, be held accountable. Other residents of the republic reported similar problems in the hospitals of Buynaksk and Kizilyurt.

On April 26, 2019, nurses from the central city hospital of Buynaksk held a protest, demanding timely payment and salary increases. According to the protesters, they received between 6,000 and 12,000 rubles and faced delays in payments.
