Rostov activists had to write explanations at the monument to the victims of repressions.

Police officers took explanations from activists of the unregistered party "Rassvet", who came to lay flowers at the monument to the victims of political repressions in Rostov-on-Don.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", October 30 has been observed in Russia since 1991 as the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Political Repressions. In Russia, memorial events are increasingly held online. Thus, the international action "Return of Names" in the Volgograd region took place online for safety reasons - a number of activists who previously participated in reading the names of the repressed are under criminal prosecution.

Activists of the Rostov branch of the unregistered party "Rassvet" honored the memory of the victims by laying flowers at the monument to the victims of political repressions in the Builders' Park this morning, the Rostov branch of the party "Rassvet" reported today.

"As usual, we had to communicate with the police officers who were on duty near the monument. After writing explanations, the guys dispersed," the message states. According to the photographs attached to the message, three activists came to lay flowers.

One of the participants in the action reported that the police checked their passports, asked who the event was in honor of, and took their phone numbers. He noted that the police behaved politely," writes "Horizontal Russia 7x7".
