A fighter from Stavropol was killed in the zone of the special military operation.

Artyom Tsybin was killed in a military operation in Ukraine. Since its beginning, at least 980 fighters from the Stavropol region have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by October 11, authorities and security forces recognized at least 979 fighters from the Stavropol region as killed.

Artyom Tsybin was killed in combat operations in Ukraine, reported the head of the Georgievsky urban district, Andrey Zaytsev, on his Telegram channel.

In May 2024, Artyom signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. After retraining, he became a UAV operator, according to a message about the opening of a named desk in the school where he studied. Details of the fighter's biography and death are not provided in the message.

Thus, at least 979 servicemen from the Stavropol region have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses are increasing for southern Russia".

In April, the administration of Georgievsk reported that mobilized Vladimir Drozhzhin and Vladimir Shagarov were killed in the zone of the special military operation.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, according to the material from "Caucasian Knot" "Three comrades served: how authorities deprive families of killed volunteers of benefits", which describes the stories of killed fighters. For instance, the mother of the killed Dmitry Ukhanov said that she searched for her son's body for four months, while officials from the administration and military enlistment office inquired about the progress of the search without providing any help.
