More than 170 homes in the Rostov region are without power after an airstrike.

In 11 municipalities of the Rostov region, more than 80 drones were destroyed overnight. In the Myasnikovsky district, a transformer substation was damaged during the attack, cutting off electricity to 172 private homes.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. For instance, on October 17, after a UAV attack in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, an auto repair shop caught fire.

Last night, "more than 80 UAVs were destroyed and suppressed" in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, and nine districts of the Rostov region: Verkhnedonskoy, Bokovsky, Millerovsky, Kasharsky, Sholokhovsky, Milyutin, Chertkovsky, Azovsky, and Myasnikovsky, reported the governor Yuri Slyusar on his Telegram channel.

In Rostov-on-Don, as a result of the "falling debris from a UAV" on the territory of the Rostovpassazhirtrans branch, the roof and glazing of the maintenance building were damaged, as well as 21 buses. "There are no casualties. There is no fire," the official wrote.

172 private homes are without power

In the Kalinin village of the Myasnikovsky district, the transformer substation was damaged by UAV debris, he noted.

"172 private homes are without power. An emergency crew is working on-site. Efforts are underway to restore power supply," the publication states.

Recall that on October 16, a man was injured as a result of a UAV attack in the Aksai district. On October 10, six people were injured in Rostov-on-Don due to a UAV attack, two of whom were hospitalized.

In the Rostov region, there is a ban on filming air attacks and their consequences, anti-aircraft defense operations, and locations of military units. A corresponding governor's decree has been published on "Caucasian Knot".

In other regions of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasian Federal District, filming of drone attacks and their consequences is also prohibited. These bans contradict the Constitution, which guarantees the inadmissibility of censorship and the freedom to seek, record, and disseminate information.
