A 27-year-old man from the Donetsk People's Republic has been convicted in Krasnodar under the article on treason.
The court in Krasnodar sentenced a 27-year-old resident of the DPR. It was established that in 2025, the man established contact via messenger with a representative of the SBU.
At his request, he filmed vehicles in the parking lot of the "Brigantina" hotel in Gelendzhik, and then transmitted data about the models and state registration plates of the cars to his curator. For this, he received 100 dollars in his cryptocurrency wallet, writes "Kommersant" on October 23.
It is reported that the data obtained by Ukrainian intelligence was of interest to them, but what exactly that interest consisted of is not mentioned.
The court sentenced the man to 12 years in prison to be served in a strict regime colony and one year of restriction of freedom. The money received from the curator was confiscated for the benefit of the state.
