On October 23, the governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratiev, announced the transfer of the "Gold Star" medal to Alexey Neverov's family via his Telegram channel.

Neverov volunteered to go to the special operation zone. In September 2023, he was killed in the Zaporizhzhia region. Other details about the military's biography and death were not provided in the governor's message.
