The fine for the second participant in the appeal to the head of the Investigative Committee regarding gasoline in Volgograd has been canceled.
The court canceled the fine of 20 thousand rubles imposed on Natalia Kuzmina, who was a participant in the recording of an appeal to Alexander Bastrykin regarding the situation with gasoline in Volgograd.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in early October, the court canceled the fine of 10 thousand rubles imposed on Natalia Ogloblina, who was a participant in the recording of an appeal to Alexander Bastrykin regarding the situation with gasoline in Volgograd.
On July 16, police detained five people at a gas station in Volgograd who were trying to record a video appeal to Alexander Bastrykin about the situation with gasoline. Lawyer Alexey Sevastyanov was arrested by the court the next day for five days, and activist Natalia Kuzmina was fined 20 thousand rubles; she intends to appeal this decision. Later, the Volzhsky court fined Alexey Sevastyanov 10 thousand rubles, as well as Tatyana Smetanko and Natalia Ogloblina.
The Volgograd Regional Court canceled the fine of 20 thousand rubles for activist Natalia Kuzmina. This was reported by lawyer Ivan Ivanov on his page on "VKontakte".
"The judge of the regional court, Sinitsyn, canceled this illegal fine imposed on the Volgograd resident - a mother of two children, but earlier, Judge Yazynina almost in exactly the same case recognized the fine of 10 thousand rubles as legal against another Volgograd resident for the same video appeal from July 16," he wrote in his message.
According to the lawyer, it is astonishing that in almost every case, the police officer from Volgograd who drew up the protocol for the offense for "meeting," whom the judges consider an uninterested witness, officially stated in court that she does not remember why the Volgograd residents gathered - for a meeting or to record a video appeal to Bastrykin.
The police officer also refused to answer the key question in these cases about how the recording of this collective video appeal from Volgograd residents to Bastrykin differed from hundreds of exactly the same video recordings of collective appeals to him made by Russians across the country, even with posters, but for which no one is held accountable. Moreover, the Investigative Committee actively promotes such methods of appeals on its resources.
In the comments on Ivan Ivanov's message about the cancellation of the fine, one social media user asked: "What methods are now suggested for citizens to express their dissatisfaction? Or is it suggested not to express it?", to which the lawyer replied, "Maybe they are pushing towards medieval measures?".
"Caucasian Knot" also reported that against the backdrop of statements from the authorities of the Volgograd region about the controlled situation with gasoline in the region, residents of the regional center claim that the situation with fuel availability has not improved; at many gas stations, it is still unavailable, and at those where it is for sale, queues are forming.
