Against the backdrop of statements from the authorities of the Volgograd region about a controlled situation with gasoline in the region, local residents claim that the availability of fuel has not improved; many gas stations still have none, and at those where it is available, queues are forming.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the authorities of the Volgograd region stated that due to a new fuel supply scheme, the situation with its availability at gas stations has become controlled. However, local residents doubted the authorities' data, noting that gasoline is either completely absent at gas stations or can only be purchased without queues early in the morning. On October 17, the governor of the region dismissed the head of the committee for industrial policy, trade, and the fuel and energy complex of the Volgograd region, Vladimir Shkarupelov, without naming the reasons.

The situation with the availability of gasoline at gas stations in Volgograd has not improved at the beginning of the week, claims "News of Volgograd" on October 19.

Residents of Volgograd told the publication that on Monday there were many closed gas stations in the city, and gasoline was scarce. "Only at the 'Lukoil' on Lenin Avenue was there AI-92, and a huge queue formed," said Pavel.

Victor reported that in the morning at the 'Lukoil' gas station on Parkhomenko, there was a queue, "but not too big - it just wrapped around the corner." "Moreover, the display only showed the availability of diesel fuel, but there were so many cars that it was clearly not for diesel. It felt like they were not just standing there because the queue was moving. Perhaps they were leaving out of frustration, but most likely gasoline was delivered and they were refueling," he noted.

Over the weekend, the situation at gas stations, as reported by the publication v1.ru, was also difficult. It is noted that AI-92 gasoline was available, but there were difficulties finding AI-95 gasoline. "Bacharov promised that everything would be sorted out in a week. What is he saying now?" - one user inquired in the comments. "Let's hit the road with a bike ride against the lack of gasoline and negligence! Ban cars for locals, outline the city in blue and red, any transit transport that doesn't pass through the city in 15 minutes pays 1000 for each subsequent minute!" - another commentator joked. "Complete helplessness, only fines and paid parking," criticized the authorities Alex.

"I saw the situation. The queues are relatively small, there is some 92 and 95 gasoline in places. Mostly only diesel," added a third commentator.
