A resident of Dagestan was unable to obtain a subsidized medication at the hospital and appealed to the prosecutor's office of the Babayurt district, after which the medication was issued to him.

A 2nd group disabled person suffering from a severe illness achieved through the prosecutor's office the issuance of the necessary medication in Dagestan.

A resident of the Babayurt district complained to the prosecutor's office that the local district hospital unjustifiably refused to issue him medications. An inspection confirmed this, and a submission was made to the chief physician of the medical institution, reports RIA "Dagestan" on October 18.

As a result of the consideration of the submission, the man was provided with medication.

Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that in March, two disabled brothers from Dagestan suffering from spinal muscular atrophy managed to obtain the issuance of expensive medication only after contacting lawyers from the human rights project "Patient and Housing Monitoring".
