A resident of Kuban was fined for failing to report the arson of a relay cabinet.

Danila Pokoloda knew that his acquaintances had set fire to the relay cabinet in Kurganinsk, but he did not report this to the law enforcement authorities. The court fined him 60,000 rubles.

The Kurganinsky District Court announced the verdict against Danila Pokoloda, accused of committing a crime under Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Failure to report to the authorities authorized to consider reports of a crime about individuals who, according to reliable information, committed a crime under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the unified press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported today.

According to the investigation and the court, in October 2025, three of the defendant's friends suggested he go with them to Kurganinsk, to which he, unaware of the purpose of the trip, agreed. Upon arriving at the railway section "Kurgannaya - Koshekhabl", his friends left him, and upon returning, showed a video in which they can be seen setting fire to the relay cabinet.

"Thus, Pokoloda became reliably aware that his acquaintances had committed a terrorist act, but he chose not to report the crime out of friendship," the statement said.

According to the agency, the young man fully admitted his guilt and expressed remorse for his actions; he was fined 60,000 rubles. The case against three of his acquaintances is under investigation.
