The authorities of the Volgograd region stated that due to the new fuel supply scheme, the situation with its availability at gas stations has become controlled. However, local residents doubted the authorities' data, noting that gasoline is either completely unavailable at gas stations or can only be purchased without queues early in the morning.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", there is again excessive demand for gasoline at gas stations in Volgograd, especially in the city center, local residents reported. Residents of Volgograd have to search for AI-95 at gas stations and stand in queues. Officials assured that there are no fuel problems in the Volgograd region. On October 10, residents complained that at gas stations where fuel is available, long queues form.
The Committee for Industrial Policy, Trade, and Fuel and Energy Complex of the Volgograd region reported on October 13 about a new logistics scheme for gasoline supply to gas stations in the region, Interfax writes.
The agency described the fuel situation in the region as "controlled". "The new logistics for fuel supply to gas stations in the region allows for daily replenishment of stocks of demanded grades AI-92 and AI-95, as well as diesel fuel," the agency's message states.
The committee announced the start of work on updating logistics chains last week. According to its data, this will allow for daily replenishment of fuel stocks and control of fuel supplies for life support services.
The authorities' statement about the controlled situation, reported by the Telegram channel v1.ru, was criticized by local residents. "Controlled negative presence?" asks one. "So controlled that after signing the deal, diesel fuel prices rose at 'Lukoil' - noted Citizen Special.
Against the backdrop of the authorities' message about the controlled situation, residents of Volgograd and the region continue to report problems with refueling their vehicles. According to them, most gas stations open only early in the morning and close after refueling 20-30 cars, v1.ru reports.
The publication provides comments from anonymous residents of the city. "Spartakovka, 'Lukoil'. Arrived at 6 AM, left at 7:30, there was both 95 and 98. By 9 AM, gasoline was gone," writes one resident. His fellow countryman confirms that he refueled without problems at 'Rosneft' at the entrance to Volgograd, but that was at seven in the morning.
At the same time, residents of the region complain about the lack of fuel at gas stations. This was reported by residents of Frolovo, Kotovo, and the Oktyabrsky district. According to them, gasoline is available for an hour to an hour and a half a day, mostly early in the morning.
