The name of the killed serviceman from Dagestan has been announced.
Samurkan Beybalaev from the Khivsky district was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 2152 servicemen from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in it.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by October 12, at least 2151 fighters from Dagestan had been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.
The administration of the Khivsky district presented an award to the family of the serviceman Samurkan Beybalaev, who was killed in the military operation, the local administration reported on its Telegram channel.
"The Order of Courage (posthumously) was presented by the head of the Khivsky district, Yarmet Yarmetov, to Samurkan Beybalaev's son, Suleiman Beybalaev, from the village of Novy-Frig," the administration's message states.
Thus, at least 2152 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who have been killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses in southern Russia are increasing".
Earlier, the administration of the Khivsky district reported that in the military operation Adam Gadzhikerimov was killed.
Dagestan ranks first among the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District in the number of killed in the military operation whose names have been officially disclosed by the authorities. In February 2022, Sergey Melikov, who was then the head of Dagestan, was the first among the representatives of the authorities to report that a Russian serviceman - officer Nurmagomed Gadzhimagomedov - was killed in Ukraine.
State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, according to the material from "Caucasian Knot" "Three comrades served: how the authorities deprive the families of killed volunteers of benefits", which describes the stories of the killed fighters. In particular, the widow of one of the killed reported that without the body, the battalion did not make payments related to the serviceman's death.
