The pensioner from Makhachkala complained about the violation of housing rights

The garage owner, using forged documents, privatized the neighboring premises through the court, and then demanded to vacate it, complained 71-year-old resident of Makhachkala, Zuhra Mamedova, who lives in this building. She noted that she has lived in the premises for 22 years and is raising her underage granddaughter.

According to lawyer Murad Navruzbekov, the 71-year-old resident of Makhachkala, Zuhra Mamedova, who is raising her underage granddaughter, is being evicted from her only home by the bailiffs. The pensioner learned that the premises had been re-registered to other people about three years ago when the bailiffs came to her with an eviction order, the lawyer explained.

In 2017, one of the garage users, allegedly using forged documents, registered ownership not only of his garage but also of the neighboring one, as well as the premises where the pensioner lives, through the court. Initially, the re-registration was related to a hereditary dispute between the man and his brother. Subsequently, the property was re-registered twice to other women with an agreement for its subsequent return. However, the man passed away, and the property remained in someone else's ownership, Navruzbekov said in a video published by the Instagram*-public republik_dagestan.

The premises in question originally consisted of brick walls without finishing, said Zuhra Mamedova. According to her, she did the repairs herself and has lived in this premises since 2004. Since 2014, her granddaughter, whom she has been raising since she was nine months old, has been living with the pensioner.

The bailiffs behaved aggressively, insulted and intimidated, Mamedova complained. "They came swearing, threatening. They even brought a baton. I held a baton in my hands, so they didn't approach. There is nothing, nowhere, I have nothing," she said in the video.
