Passengers pointed out to the authorities the unsatisfactory operation of minibuses in Vladikavkaz.

Passengers of minibus No. 8 from Vladikavkaz to Nogir have to wait a long time for transport, and then travel in a crowded cabin, a local resident complained on social media. Other locals, commenting on his complaint, pointed out similar problems with other routes and criticized the authorities for not solving the public transport issue.

According to one of the passengers, he had to wait about 40 minutes for minibus No. 8, which goes from Vladikavkaz to Nogir, and after its arrival, there were 23 passengers in a cabin designed for 13 seats.

The passenger's complaint was published on October 10 by the Instagram*-public northossetia, which has about 425 thousand users. As of 12:40 MSK on October 11, this post had received 209 likes and 91 comments.

Local residents in the comments pointed out that overcrowding is typical not only for route No. 8. "All minibuses are like this," wrote tsallagovaind.

"Every morning route 21 is the same," noted massage.albina_gabaraeva.

"The 35th route is the same... You travel like a sardine," pointed out fatimakochieva.

Some commentators expressed concerns about the safety of traveling in overcrowded transport. "People themselves climb into an overcrowded minibus, not even afraid that the transport might overturn," wrote rozaddanaeva.

"Why do you get in if there are no seats? Do you think someone will get out for you? What does the driver have to do with it, he is obliged to stop at the stop, or did you get in to shoot a video? Good thing there are phones," stated tania_sitohova.

"This is not only on this route, it is on all of them. Okay, you can stand in the new buses, but these yellow minibuses are just a nightmare, you can't get out without sciatica," pointed out bellabzikova1.

Other users criticized the authorities for the unresolved public transport issue. "Shame on our authorities! In such a small city, they can't even organize transport. I won't even talk about the roads," wrote kazbek10758.

"The 8th route rarely runs at all, while the residents of Nogir have no other way to get around. And if you are lucky to wait, you travel in overcrowded conditions. Nine years ago, the same situation existed, can't this issue be resolved in 10 years to help people?" exclaimed yulia_kulova.

"There are problems with almost every minibus. Only in the Ministry of Transport everything is fine," believes svetlanadzalaeva.

As of 12:40 MSK on October 11, there are no comments regarding passengers' complaints about minibus issues on the websites of the Vladikavkaz administration and the North Ossetia transport committee.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of North Ossetia periodically complain about public transport issues. For example, on November 27, 2024, passengers complained about the lack of a schedule, old transport, and long intervals between routes, due to which some preferred to travel standing rather than wait for the next bus for about half an hour.

On October 10, 2024, residents of Vladikavkaz called the quality of minibus service unacceptable, pointing out overcrowding, rare routes, and dilapidated transport.
