In Rostov-on-Don, a resident of Aksay was detained for tearing down several banners depicting participants of the special operation.

A 41-year-old man has been detained, suspected of damaging banners with portraits of participants of the special military operation on the alley not on Stachki Avenue.

According to the police, a resident of Aksay was walking with an acquaintance along the alley while intoxicated. The detainee tore down several banners with portraits of fighters. The identity of the second person has been established, he is wanted, reports 1rnd.ru on October 10.

A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under the article on intentional damage to property. He has previously been convicted of property crimes. He is currently in custody, reports "Bloknot-Rostov".

Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" reported that in August last year, the acting mayor of Makhachkala, Dzhambulat Salavov, stated that unknown individuals defaced portraits of participants in combat operations and threatened them with punishment.
