As a result of a drone attack in the Rostov region, a man was injured and taken to the hospital. Residents of damaged apartment buildings in the regional center have been evacuated.
As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. Thus, on the night of October 9, almost two dozen drones were destroyed in eight districts of the region. According to the governor, there were no injuries.
Last night, the Rostov region was attacked by more than 50 drones, resulting in one man being injured, reported the governor Yuri Slyusar on his Telegram channel. "The injured person was taken to the hospital. Medical staff are providing all necessary assistance," he wrote.
According to officials, several apartment buildings in Rostov-on-Don have been damaged. "People have been evacuated. Information about the injured is being clarified. Firefighting is underway," the message states.
In addition, a railway bridge has been damaged, and train traffic on it has been halted.
"In Bataysk, a UAV hit an uninhabited high-rise building in a residential complex. Information about the injured is being clarified. Firefighting is underway," the official reported.
Recall that on the night of October 5, a fuel truck driver sustained burns during a UAV attack in the Krasnosulinsky district and was hospitalized in serious condition.
In the Rostov region, there is a ban on filming aerial attacks and their consequences, anti-aircraft defense operations, and locations of military units. A corresponding decree by the governor has been published on "Caucasian Knot".
In other regions of the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasus Federal District, filming of drone attacks and their consequences is also prohibited. These bans contradict the Constitution, which guarantees the inadmissibility of censorship and the freedom to seek, record, and disseminate information, lawyers pointed out.
