The authorities of the Astrakhan region have canceled the fuel sales regime based on vehicle numbers.

In the Astrakhan region, a decision has been made to cancel the regime of gasoline sales linked to the state registration numbers of vehicles.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the governor of the Astrakhan region, Igor Babushkin, announced on September 29 in his Telegram channel that the gas stations of the "Gazprom" network have switched to round-the-clock fuel sales, but temporarily. In addition, according to him, the limit on gasoline sales to one person has been lifted.

Starting tomorrow, the temporary regime of gasoline sales based on even and odd days will be canceled in Astrakhan, reported "Interfax" citing the governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin.

According to him, the situation with fuel supply in the regional center is gradually returning to normal. He added that the previously introduced restrictive measures have yielded results and the queues are noticeably decreasing.

At the same time, this morning Igor Babushkin wrote in his Telegram channel that today in the regional center, cars with even numbers ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 are being refueled.

Recall that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in southern Russia, a fuel crisis has arisen. The fuel problem has caused a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas cylinder equipment. In auto services, customer queues have stretched several months ahead, and the cost of equipment has nearly doubled.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that at the end of September, the operating hours of federal network gas stations "Lukoil" and "Gazpromneft" in Astrakhan increased by more than a third. Meanwhile, in the regions of the area, fuel at these network gas stations was sold for a maximum of six hours a day.
